Breakfast is delicious

Mike makes delicious smoothies and I’ve posted one above, although it hasn’t been blended yet.

March 23rd, 2009 – 137.6lbs

Menu – coffee, cereal with yogurt, grapefruit, raisins, several sips of Mike’s beverage, crackers, raisins, popsicle, cereal

Exercise – laundry, raked yard, undisclosed activity

March 24th, 2009 – 139.8lbs

Menu – coffee, yogurt/cereal, apple, almonds, tomatos, carrots, curry with rice, 6-inch sub, 2 apricots

Exercise – walked to and from work, stairs at work

March 25th, 2009 – 138.6lbs

Menu – grapefruit, yogurt with cereal, coffee, apple, almonds, oatmeal, banana, cucumber, red pepper strips, 2 sips of Mike’s beverage, rice with beans, salsa and soy beef, apple sauce

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work

March 26th, 2009 – 138.6lbs

Menu – coffee, granola with yogurt, apple, cucumber, rice with beans, salsa and soy beef, almonds, carrots, 5 dried apricots, 1 wrap (rice beans salsa etc), strawberries, puffed wheat, ryvita crackers with cheese, popsicle

Exercise – walked to and from work, stairs at work, shopping

March 27th, 2009 – 137.4lbs

Menu – coffee, cereal, yogurt, apple, almonds, carrots, celery, tomatos, oatmeal, tea, ryvita crackers with cheese, pickle, chicken burger

Exercise -walked to and from work, took stairs at work, gym for one hour

March 28th, 2009 – 137.4lbs

Menu – coffee, smoothie, chicken burger, 2 dried apricots, 1 grapefruit, potatos with steak and green beans, 1 dried apricot, 3 crackers with cheese, 5 dried apricots 

Exercise – yoga video workout, garden stuff

March 29th, 2009 – 137.4lbs

Menu – coffee, smoothie… that’s it so far  🙂

Snowboarding: A Great Weightloss Activity

Howdy!  Above you can see a picture of me in all my skinniness.  Below you will find some of the details about how I became so skinny:

March 20th, 2009 – 139.4lbs

Menu – coffee, granola with yogurt and flax, apple, almonds, fish cake with pasta and peas, tomatos, carrots, 2 strawberries, 2 grapes, 1 cracker, 1 pickle, cheese, tomato, chicken burger

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work, 1 hour at gym

March 21st, 2009 – 139.4lbs

Menu – coffee, yogurt with granola, apple, almonds, chicken burger, carrots, tomato, 2 dried apricots, noddles with chicken and beans, 1 sip of Mike’s tasty beverage

Exercise – walked and from work, took stairs at work, 1 hour at gym

March 22nd, 2009 – 138.6lbs

Menu – coffee, cereal with granola, 1 grapefruit, 2 crackers, Irish Cream, beans with pasta and chicken, 2 cups of tea, wraps with beans and soy beef, red pepper, diet coke

Exercise – snowboarding!

March 23rd, 2009 – 137.6lbs

Menu – coffee, cereal with yogurt, 1 grapefruit, 2 dried apricots, 2 pieces of bread with taco toppings on top, cheerios with milk and raisins

Exercise – laundry, raked the lawn

March 23rd isn’t over yet though, so stay tuned for more details!

I tried on a white skirt that hasn’t fit for years and it fits now; in fact, it actually even fits loose!

When I snowboard I am so concious of my core strength because of all the ab work I do at the gym, so do ab work because it feel so good!

Anywho, I off to burn some calories while playing video games.  :p

I can’t believe how high the bars are back in January, they are SO low now, yippee!

Sometimes it feels like my body hasn’t changed at all, even when I wear my really loose fitting clothes.  I really look forward to purchasing new pants!

A lot of people at work have been asking me if I’ve lost weight and I love telling them “Yes, more than 20lbs!”.

Slow but sure…

Typical Lunch

Above you see what I bring to work to eat.  I usually eat my apple two hours into my shift, then I have lunch (in the photo above: lasagna), then throughout the afternoon I munch on almonds, carrots and tomatos.  Pretty colorful right?  Full of nutrients I think.  Our lasagna is made with whole wheat noodles, soy beef and light cheeses, among other things like tomato sauce, onions and peppers.  We didn’t have any spinach but it would have made the lasagna even more delicious if we did have it!

March 15th, 2009 – 139.8lbs

Menu – coffee, yogurt/cereal, rice leftovers, 2 prunes, 1/2 grapefruit, a few pineapple pieces, 2 pieces homemade pizza

Exercise – laundry, undisclosed activity

March 16th, 2009 – 139.8lbs

Menu – coffee, smoothie, Irish Cream, cheerios/raisins, 2 slices homemade pizza, cheese, grapes, popsicle, crackers, cheerios, lasagna with toast

Exercise – snowboarded for 4 hours

March 17th, 2009 – 139.4lbs

Menu – coffee, smoothie, apple, lasagna, almonds, carrots, tomatos, cauliflower delight, 1 piece bread, curry, 1 glass beer, 2 glasses champagne, grape juice with vodka

Exercise – walked to and from work, took the stairs at work

March 18th, 2009 – 139.4lbs

Menu – yogurt/cereal/flax, coffee, apple, almonds, lasagna, carrots, tomatos, chicken with rice and beans, apple sauce

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work

March 19th, 2009 – 139.4lbs

Menu – coffee, yogurt/flax/cereal, apple, almonds, beans with chicken and rice, tomato, carrots, 2 crackers, red pepper, tuna cake with pasta and peas

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work, 1 hour at gym

Some obvious flub ups above but I am re-dedicated and one evening was a friend’s Birthday party, so I had my reasons.  🙂

Wish me luck as I dive into losing the last 9.4lbs!

The run down

water

I am drinking lots of water today because I ate a lot of salty popcorn last night.  Eating all that popcorn was a bad idea because I went up in weight today from yesterday.  😦  Here is the run down of the last few days:

March 12th, 2009 – 140.6lbs

Menu – coffee, yogurt/cereal, tea, apple, almonds, radishes, cucumber, perogies (3), beans, soy beef wraps with black beans

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work, 1 hour at the gym

March 13th, 2009 – 139.8lbs

Menu – coffee, yogurt/cereal, apple, salad, some almonds, potatos, chicken, corn/peas, tea

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work, 1 hour at the gym

March 14th, 2009 – 138.6lbs

Menu – coffee, yogurt/cereal, apple, almonds, carrots, tomatos, potatos with chicken and corn/pes, tea, kamut with skim milk, 2 prunes, rice with salsa, beans and soy beef, loads of salty popcorn

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work, 1 hour at the gym

March 15th, 2009 – 139.8lbs

Menu – coffee, yogurt/cereal… that’s all so far.

I am drinking lots of water to hopefully flush the salt from my body.  My extra-diligence begins again today because I am so excited to be in the 130s!

BTW, determination works

Today I weigh 138.6lbs!  The weight is coming off fast again because I am being extra diligent.  I only have 8.6lbs to go!!!  This entry and the last are short and don’t have pictures but I’ll add a full entry at some point on my weekend, ok?  Until then, I am off to work!

I am in the 130s!

Hello All.  I was overjoyed by the numbers on my scale today: 139.8lbs!  So my dedication to eating reasonably and exercsing hard paid off!  I’ve lost 21.6lbs in total so far, only 9.8 more pounds to go! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!  I will try to think of a picture to post with this entry but I don’t have time now.  😀  Thanks for all the great encouragement!
