Look how big my jeans are!

I’ve posted a picture of me in jeans that were once snug.  AND, you should know I weigh 141.8lbs, which means only .8lbs to go until a healthy weight, woohoo!  Also, at 140lbs I will only be 10lbs away from my goal weight!  Okie dokie, more later,

So close to a healthy weight!

 

Hi Everyone,

I weigh144.4lbs and a healthy weight for my height is 141lbs, so I am almost there!  I’ve included a picture of my belt, which shows how my waist size has changed.

You can find my menu and exericse listed below:

February 17th, 2009 – 146.2 lbs

Menu – black coffee, 3 tablespoons of yogurt with cereal, 1 apple,  tuna fish sandwich, tomatos, almonds, radishes and a small sub

Exercise – walked to work,  took stairs at work

February 18th, 2009 – 145.6 lbs

Menu – black coffee, smoothie, 1 apple, oatmeal, whole wheat noodles with tomato sauce, 2 prunes

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work

February 19th, 2009 – 145.6 lbs

Menu – black coffee, yogurt and cereal, almonds, an orange, leftover pasta, radishes, carrots, 1 piece of healthier garlic toast, apple sauce

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work, gym for one hour, laundry

February 20th, 2009 – 145.6 lbs

Menu -black coffee, yogurt with cereal, 1 apple, almonds, apple/grape salad, carrots, peppers, cucumber, half cracker, milk, half chicken breast, rice pilaf, apple sauce

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work, gym for one hour

February 21st, 2009 – 144 lbs

Menu – smoothie, black coffee, baby orange, apple, cheerios with skim milk, rice/chicken leftovers, carrots, almonds, cucumber, chicken burger, pretzels, grapes, 2 popsicles

Exercise – walked to and from work, stairs at work, one hour at gym

February 22nd, 2009 – 144.4 lbs

Menu – coffee, grapefruit, cheerios with skim milk, 2 1/2 crackers, leftover chicken burger, 2 prunes, 1 raisin, cauliflower, fish, rice, popsicle, pretzels

Exercise – laundry, walked around mall and stores in general

February 23rd, 2009 – 144.4 lbs

So far today I’ve eaten a grapefruit and drank some black coffee.  Writing out my weight, menu and exercise for the last few days has strengthened my resolve to eat well and carefully because I see results when I am diligent.

MORE THAN HALFWAY THERE!

 

Journal 4

Today I weighed 145.6lbs, which means I’ve lost 15.8lbs!  I am more than half way to my goal!  I am also very excited, since I had reached that plateau and I may be past it now.   Yippee!  Oh and I tried on my red pants and they are SO loose now!

My body likes the high 140 range.  I’ve posted the proof below:

February 11th, 2009 – 147lbs

Menu – black coffee, granola/yogurt, banana, split pea soup with 1 piece of bread, red pepper, a few carrots, cheerios, 1 cracker, pasta with chicken tomato sauce, aple sauce, radishes

Exercise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work

February 12th, 2009 – 147.4lbs

Menu – black coffee, granola/yogurt, apple, split pea soup with 1 piece of bread, red pepper, some carrots, some almonds, 1 cracker, 1 chicken burger, 1 apple sauce

Exercise – walked to and from work, to Capri centre and back to work and 1 hour at the gym

February 13th, 2009 – 146.2lbs

Menu – black coffee, granola/yogurt, apple, cinnamon hearts, carrots, red pepper, almonds, celery, burger, 1 cracker, some raisins, roast beef, potatos, brocolli, carrots, cauliflower, beans, gravy, 1 and a half Yorkshire puddings, tea

Exercise – walked to and from work, gym for one hour

February 14th, 2009 – 146.2lbs

Menu – coffee, cereal/yogurt, apple, almonds (hand full), carrots, tomatos, oatmeal, schnitzel with potatos, asparagus, apple cake and baked brie, 1 bun, lots of cheerios

Exercise – to and from work, stairs, gym

February 15th, 2009 – 146.2

Menu – black coffee, smoothie, cheese tomato sandwich, half grapefruit, 2 prunes, tea, leftover schnitzel and potatos with green beans, salad and apple sauce

Exercise – snowboarding for 2-3 hours

Today, February 16th, 2009 – 146.2lbs

As you can see, I’ve had some slip-ups in my menu, for instance cinnamon hearts, which made me feel sick; a heavy valentine’s day dinner.  I plan on following my “plan” more carefully from now on.  Wish me luck!

Grumble grumble

Journal 2

These are the first pages of my progress journal.  On the second page I was excited because I had lost 3.2lbs, which really seems to put it all in perspective because I’ve lost way more than that now!  🙂  The comments below, which I wrote before this may be less relevant now…

I am finding I’m not being as careful as I was last month and I feel like my progress has slowed but Mike is helping me keep it all in check.  In otherwords, he talks me down from hysterics… haha, it’s not quite that bad.  Any tips on how to remain focused and positive?

February 8th, 2009 – 147lbs

Menu – black coffee, granola/yogurt, BBQ chicken, oven roasted potatos, green beans, 1 glass of orange juice, soy chicken lasagna

Exercise – undisclosed activity and grocery shopping

February 9th, 2009 – 146.6lbs

Menu – yogurt/granola, black coffee, 1 grapefruit, 1 small sub, celery, 6 crackers (oh my!), salad, leftover lasagna, 1 piece of bread, celery

Exercise – walked around mall

February 10th, 2009 – 146.6lbs

Menu – yogurt/granola, black coffee, apple, almonds, leftover lasagna, celery, carrots, orange pepper, kiwi, split pea soup with a bun and a half, 1 piece of bread

Exercsise – walked to and from work, took stairs at work

February 11th, 2009 – 147lbs

Bumpy ride…

Above you will find my original planning sheet.  It’s taped onto the inside cover of my journal.  So far I am crushing my goal, so that’s quite exciting.

February 4th, 2009 – 149.2lbs

Menu – coffee black, smoothie, apple, chili with one piece of bread, brocolli, carrots, tomatos, soy chicken wraps

Exercise – Walked to and from work, took the stairs at work

February 5th, 2009 – 149.6lbs

Menu – black coffee, yogurt/granola, tomatos, apple, cucumber, carrots, cheese/onion/pickle sandwich, 4 crackers, raisins, sip of pop, 4 perogies, steamed brocolli

Exercise – Walked to and from work, took stairs at work, gym for 1 hour, moved furniture about

February 6th, 2009 – 148.2lbs

Menu – half a grapefruit, black coffee, granola/yogurt, apple, celery, leftover perogies (5!), steamed brocolli, peppers, cucumber, w/w pasta with soy chicken, tomato sauce

Exercise – Walked to and from work, stairs at work, 1 hour at gym

February 7th, 2009 – 147.4lbs

Menu – black coffee, granola/yogurt, apple, cheerios with skim milk, oatmeal, pepper, celery, cucumber, two crackers, BBQed chicken, oven roasted potatos, green beans, 4 crackers, 2 popcicles, popcorn

Exercise – Walked to and from work, stairs at work, 1 hour at gym

Today – February 8th, 2009 – 147lbs 

The title of my blog references the food I ate last night.  We went to our friend’s place and as you can see I ate more than my fair share of treats.  I don’t look forward to that catching up to me but I did have a good time, so onward and forward!

Guess what, some of my belts go to the very smallest size on my waist now!  And all of my clothes are noticeably looser!  Yippee!
